FAMILY MINISTRY
WITH A PURPOSE
1. Teach Them Grace
Researcher Kara Powell states: "The single strongest predictor of whether a child will attend church as an adult is their ability to articulate the gospel accurately and in terms of grace." Everything we do with kids and teens centers around the gospel of grace. Click HERE to learn more about gospel centrality.
2. Get Them in the Game
We don't want kids and teenagers passively observing church like fans watching a football game, we want them out of the stands and in the game. On Sunday mornings there are kids and teenagers serving and even leading various ministries. Click HERE to learn more.
3. Family Worship
We have a nursery for ages 0-2 and a classroom for ages 3-5. Both rooms are clean, safe, fun, and Jesus-focused. You're free to utilize those rooms for your kids in those age brackets, but you're also free to have your kids join you in the adult service if you wish.
All kids in grades K-5 stay in the service and are given a worship packet that includes a quiet fidget toy, crayons, a sermon-based activity, and a family devotional for you to do together at home. The notes are designed to help your kids follow along with the message and spark meaningful conversations after the service. One of our greeters will give you these bags as soon as you walk in the front door of the sanctuary.
4. Kid's Night!
On the first Wednesday of each month from 6-7:30pm we have a BIG event in our sanctuary for grades K-5. We have food, games, music, and a gospel-focused teaching and activity.
